OUR HIPAA Policy:
Our policy at Ty’s Healthy Healers is to actively engage in the development of all our standards referred in the HIPPAA proposed regulations to protect the privacy of Client Health Information (PHI). Our Agency review and provide ongoing revision and development of policies and procedures that will assure compliance with HIPPA required transaction, code set, identifier, security and privacy standards.
Our Procedures include:
Notification of privacy rules and regulations for all our clients
Education and ongoing training on HIPAA Policies for all our staff
Adequate and appropriate compliance activities on HIPAA Policies
Evaluation and revision of existing policies and procedures to comply with HIPAA standards
We focus on our clients’ privacy
Handling of client information that satisfies local federal and state regulations
At Ty’s Healthy Healers we develop action plans according to HIPPA policies that target completion dates.
HIPAA Compliance Committee at Ty’s Healthy Healers will ensure that all our staff be adequately trained, assure training that include a cross-functional representation of the agency.
OUR HIPAA Privacy Notice to clients:
All our clients are given the privacy notice information of their rights which include privacy of their information maintained as confidential and private. Our agency makes sure that all our clients have access to the PHI and the right to restrict access to their information.
Restriction of Information:
All our Clients have the right to restrict access to their private medical information by verbal or written means.
